  3. 6th Grade Team • Mrs. Fritz- Reading and Writing • Ms. Delacotera- Science and Social Studies • Mrs. Combs- Math/ 210 Homeroom

Forms and Instructional Fee • $50 Instructional fee • Emergency Forms and Media Forms • 100 % on Lunch forms!!! • PTO • Membership • Trying for new water fountains • Box Tops • Gym Class • Beaubien Gear or white shirt (with no printing on the back) • Shorts or pants (No dresses or skirts) • Footwear- Rubber soled “gym” shoe. Sandals, Flip Flops, TOMS, flats, wedges, Uggs, or any boot are NOT acceptable

  5. 6th Grade Transition/ Requirements • Daily Requirements • Come to class prepared with materials • Homework (no LATE homework) • Binder, Textbook, Workbook • Pen • 6th Grade Requirements • Must Pass Reading and Math with a C or Higher. • Pass ISAT • No more than 9 unexcused absences (this includes half days)

  7. Grading • Grading ScaleA 90-100 B 80-89 C 74-79 D 67-73 F 66 and below • Math Percentage Breakdown • 10% Homework (assignments strictly assigned for completion at home) • 40% Classwork (Assignment expected to be completed in class, group work, investigations, Daily Check-ups) • 10% Class Participation (Participation in class discussion, completes work, fixes up thinking, comes to class prepared and ready to learn) • 40% Tests (Chapter tests, Major Quizzes, and Applications)

  9. After School Program • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday • Mrs. Combs 2x per week • Mrs. Fritz 1x per week • Recommended based on grades • around progress report time • Also for students who want additional help • Bring signed note with date
