  1. Squirt the Medaka By: Tige & B-rent

  2. Squirt - Stage 21 • In this early stage of Squirt’s life; his body becomes visible along with his fairly large eyes.

  3. Squirt - Stage 28 • Squirt then grows up to 2/3 of his yolk sac. From the yolk Squirt used, he creates a visible liver and his pancreas appears.

  4. Squirt - Stage 30 • Squirt now doubled in size from the last stage. He branches out arteries throughout his body to help supply and flow the blood to his newly formed muscles.

  5. Squirt - Stage 31 • Now Squirt has used up most of his yolk. His blood circulation has also migrated throughout his whole body. The tail fin is slightly visible in this stage.

  6. Squirt - Stage 33 • The heart speeds up greatly in this stage and Squirt has a visible spinal cord. Squirt increases pigment in this stage and gains the ability to move his fins.

  7. Squirt - Stage 36 • Over the weekend Squirt has hatched from his egg and became a living fish. He is no longer an embryonic creature, but a real living fish able to swim and frolic in his waters.
