These courses are for students who wish: • to work with young children, their families and /or communities; • to study children, childhood or play from different perspectives including work placements in a range of early years and other settings. • ECS work with and focus on 0-7yrs • Pw work with 0-16yrs with a focus on 4-16yrs

Multi disciplinary degrees • Education • early years curriculum • Social Policy / Social Care • health and social care policy, children’s health and wellbeing, children in need, multi-disciplinary teams • Sociology • concepts of childhood, children’s peer cultures • Psychology • young children as learners, children’s social/emotional development • Human Geography • young children’s rights in an international context • Playwork • playwork principles and practice
