Deployment of Fuel Cells Promoting Introduction of Home Fuel Cells • Home fuel cell (Ene-Farm) introduction figures (as of March 2015) • → approx. 7,700 in Yokohama (approx. 38,000 nationwide) • A unique “cogeneration system” generates power from the fuel cell and uses heat to boil water Using Hydrogen at the New City Hall Electricity City gas • Fuel cells will be introduced in the new city hall building to be used from 2020 Hot water Water Source: Toshiba Fuel Cell Power Systems Corp.

Promoting Introduction of Fuel Cell Forklifts We are considering introducing this technology in the Keihin coastal area through a partnership between related companies and municipalities. • In addition to CO2-free hydrogen manufacturing using electricity generated by the Yokohama City Wind Power Plant, we will launch an initiative to build and demonstrate an integrated system from storage to transport to use. • Our aim is to contribute to future regional development and global warming countermeasures.
