Grading Policy • Exams 25% • 80 question multiple choice • AP level questions • Curved • Essays/Projects 25% • Free Response and DBQ essays • Quizzes 15% • To make sure you read the book!!! • 5 questions/ 5 minutes • Homework 10% • Most of the Hw’s are the readings, so realize that the quizzes are for the most part included in the HW. Review sheets count as 3 homeworks and must be completed in order to play Jeopardy! • Class Participation/Classwork 25% • Answering Socratic method questions • It’s effort! • Class Presentations/ Readings and Discussion

Expectations • Student • Attendance • Lateness is not an option!!!! • come early, eat breakfast, relax, listen to Fox’s bad music • If absent, bring note or parent can email me. • Behavior • Materials • Effort • AP is an OPTIONAL course!!!! • If you gonna go swimming, you dive in, not pinky toe at a time!! • In college, about 2/3rds of the material covered for the course is expected to be learned outside the classroom. • READ THE BOOK!!!!!! • TUTORING!!!!!! Saturday’s thru the year. Perks given!!!! • READ THE BOOK!!!!!! • Monkeys can copy notes (proven fact actually, University of London study showed they can copy images), students review notes • Extra Credit • Outside the Class • Teacher • Be prepared, on time, rarely absent, know the content.
