The Artistic Intention • This project focuses on photos of people of New York; each photo provides a little glimpse into the character’s lives. • Although New York is known for being a melting pot of diversity and colorful personalities, there’s still a lot of inequality that runs deep throughout the city. • We juxtaposed each picture with a satirical caption that pokes fun at the irony of each situation in hopes of illuminating the individualistic struggles these characters encounter.
