Explain; give examples. • Why did the chicken cross the basketball court? • Battology – Excessive repetition in speech or writing Goals – Practice for debate. Are you mostly self- reliant? • Why did the lollipop cross the road? • Adoxography – writing cleverly on a trivial subject. Goals – Be certain to turn in Works cited, articles, and notes pages to me today. Homework - none.
