Accomplishments & Activities - 2009 • Held two IAGC/OGP Global HSE and Security Forums (Calgary and London) with good attendance • CAGC actively involved at Calgary • Permanent workgroup and 2 subcommittees met during 2009 to focus on specific issues • Sound & Marine Life Workgroup • Security Subcommittee • Electromagnetic Subcommittee • In coordination with OGP completed the update and revision process for OGP 291, OGP 432 and OGP 420 Guidelines • OGP 432 (Managing HSE in a Geophysical Contract) final ,endorsed by IAGC , Now Published by OGP • OGP 420 (Helicopter Guidelines for Land Seismic and Helirig Operations) update was completed and approved by OGP and IAGC. Now Published • OGP 291 \423 (HSE Management – Guidelines for working together in a contracting Environment) Completed and Endorsed by IAGC :Being Published by OGP

Accomplishments & Activities – 2009 (continued) • Revision and update process of the IAGC Marine and Land Safety Manuals started at the London Forum meeting • Final drafts Edition 10 should be presented at the joint forum meeting in April 2010 • Database of fatalities from geophysical operations – Aide Memoire –on the IAGC website – Members are keeping this up to date with current data • Marine Step Change Party Chiefs and Captains meetings – • Met in Trondheim and London with continued success, good participation by IAGC members, HiPo presentations posted on the IAGC website • Land Step Change • By end October 2010; IAGC 518 passenger trucks converted using the guidance of the TRL report (Transport Research Laboratory. ) • Sub contractor Management OGP / IAGC Sept 2009 • Geophysical vessel supplement to e-CMID .. OGP 432

Objectives & Actions - 2010 • Complete revision and publish Edition 10 of the IAGC Marine and Land Safety Manuals • Form an Environmental Subcommittee – Proposed in late 2009 • Establish an Environment Subcommittee to address issues, outside of the Sound & Marine Life Workgroup • Establish Chair person and Terms of Reference • Revision of 2001 Edition ‘Environmental Manual for Worldwide Geophysical Operations • Taskforce on HSE Performance / Statistics reporting – meeting February 2010 • Include recorded HiPo’s involving Personnel in 2009 HSE statistics. • Review existing reporting template (1998) and propose new indicators ( Leading) for 2010, Q1 2010 and present at April Forum meeting • Finalise Reporting Definitions.

Objectives & Actions – 2010 (continued) • Sound & Marine Life Workgroup – (Sarah Tsoflias will cover) • Land & Marine Step Change Initiatives • Re-engage Steering and Coordinating Committees to ensure commitment and continued involvement and contribution. • Jonathon Miller (CGGV) New Chair of the Land SC Steering Committee • Diving Medical Advisory Committee DMAC • IAGC members assisting in Revision of DMAC Guidance Note DMAC 012 • Safe Diving Distance from Seismic Surveying Operations (1979) • SPE Health and Safety Conference April 2010 • Joint Paper OGP / IAGC ”Working Together – Saving Lives” • Geophysical / offroad supplement to OGP 365 with LTSC • Developing a supplement for OGP 365, Fatigue, Journey Management, • Human Behaviors ( with HFTF)

Sub Committee’s 2009 – 2010 • Electromagnetic Subcommittee • Meetings held in February and November 2009 • Mission statement, Scope and Objectives established • Environment impact assessment tender document compiled • 2010 Complete and publish EIA • Establish EM HSE performance Statistics reporting • Security Subcommittee –Meeting held in March 2009 UK • Completed guidance notes on personal security for IAGC members • Draft sent to IAGC • Provided data on security for Edition 10 of Land & Marine Safety Manual update • Assisted in OGP “Guidelines on Unexploded Ordnance”, which should be published early 2010 • Assisting with OGP ” “Guidelines on Working in Hazardous Environments” • Security Mgt. System. • Operating Guidelines. • Various Appendices • Document to be published early 2010
