Overall objectives to inform about the concepts, progress and results of SPICOSA… task ongoing, good progress to address policy makers, related EU project teams, coastal community, general public … task ongoing, progressing but improvements to be done to present results in easy to understand, objective and relevantway to the end-users… task ongoing, major efforts needed in final year Reminder ….. why do we need COMMUNICATION

SSAs communication & user engagement to present, communicate the research activities, process & results and their link with the policy agenda to demonstrate the added value of the SAF and SPICOSA in support of ICZM by engaging your end-users and make sure they are informed and involved in each of the steps of the work … inform the communication team, keep track and record your activities! Revision Public Website Revised, updated, new structure Fact & figures: ca. 72,000 total visitors since website launch in year 1: 9,000, year 2: 22,000, year 3: 41,000! in 2009: average of 3,400 visitors per month most viewed pages: SETNET, ‘LIVE’ section, E-News, SSAs top countries: Netherlands, France, Greece, Italy and UK. www.spicosa.eu
