  2. Easy to Access and Make • Most are made from plants, which is a renewable resource, unlike biofuels. • In the past year 14% of all corn went to Biofuel production. • We are studying ways to use wild grasses, in land plots that have no use.

  3. Less Polluting way to Fuel Vehicles • Biofuels are part of a natural Carbon cycle; while Fossil Fuel disrupts the cycle. • Sustainable biofuels could be made from cellulose

  4. Disadvantages - Take A Lot to Make • May cause more environmental issues and pollution than other petroleum based fuels. • Herbicides and chemical fertilizers that are need to create Biofuels; can cause pollution. • Land and Trees have to be cleared to harvest crops for biofuels.
