  3. As A Potential Grad you must have… • English 11 • Math 11 • History 11 • Science 11 or 12 • Fine Arts/Life Role 11 or 12

  4. As A Potential Grad you must have… • English 12 • 4 other Grade 12 credits • Minimum of 17 credits in total • Requirements for your post-secondary program?

  15. How do I know if I have the Admission Requirements? • Admission requirements are not the same as Graduation requirements • Admission requirements differ from institution to institution • It is your responsibility to insure you have the courses required for admission

  16. When to Apply • Apply after mid-term marks • Admission deadlines vary-it’s up to you to find out • NBCC November 1st • Many applications should be done on-line • You have to request a transcript be sent to the institutions you are applying to

  17. What is a Transcript? • A transcript lists all grade 11 and 12 courses and marks only. • All institutions will require a transcript • Complete a Transcript Request Form @ Guidance • $1.00 fee for each transcript requested • We will not automatically send unless you request it to be sent

  18. What about Scholarships & Bursaries? • University/College Entrance Scholarships • Institutions & Organizations/Foundations • School scholarships/bursaries • If you want a scholarship, it’s up to you to apply, on time, with all the information required • Application deadlines vary • It takes work! It takes time! Start now!
