  3. About our Principal • 1st Year at Del Roble • Has taught grades Pre-k, 3rd, 4, 5, 8th, Adult Ed., and summer programs • 3 daughters • Gilroy

  4. About our Staff • 22 General Ed classrooms (9 SEI Classes, 13 TWBI Classes) • RSP, Psychologists, Speech Therapy, Instructional Assistants, Office Staff, Custodial, and more • BASE and YMCA Programs A wonderful learning community!!

  6. Del Roble School Mission and Vision The mission of Del Roble School is that every student’s potential is achieved! The vision of Del Roble School is to provide a caring, engaging, and stimulating 21st century environment where children will recognize and achieve their fullest potential.

Goals • Students will achieve at grade level in Language Arts and Math, as measured by report cards, district benchmarks and summative assessments.   • Students with IEP’s will meet IEP goals on time. • English Learners will move up one proficiency level each year or be re-designated. • Students will fully understand the schools PBIS expectations and be caring, responsible, safe, and proud scholars on school campus, as measured by discipline data and student survey.

Parent Groups • English Language Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) – This committee provides information to parents about the programs that support English Learners (EL) and also provides feedback to administration regarding the learning needs of English Learners. The first meeting will be held on September 4th, 2019 from 9 am to 10 am. • School Site Council – This is an advisory group that comprises of parents, students, staff members, and the principal. The group is responsible for monitoring the academic program and ensuring that funds are being spent as outlined in the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA.) All the members (except the principal) are elected and meetings are held once a month. First meeting will be on September 4th, 2019 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. • Home & School Club • El Camino Parent Group • HABLA - Hispanic Parent Group • KoffeeKlatch – African-American parent group
