The Literacy Council of Highlands aims to enhance lives through literacy, offering comprehensive reading programs suitable for all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Utilizing effective software tools like Lexia, My Reading Coach, and Rosetta Stone, our initiative focuses on developing essential reading skills including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Our efforts are supported by community fundraising, grants, and individual contributions, culminating in engaging events like our annual Fall Gala to foster community involvement and sustain our programs.
