San Francisco Bay Area Coastal Study • Covers 100% of the San Francisco Bay coastal communities in 9 counties • Leverages latest 2010 NOAA and USGS LiDAR topographic data • Regional hydrodynamic, storm surge, and wave modeling • Detailed onshore coastal hazard analysis • Outreach, coordination and collaboration with numerous partners, stakeholders, and other studies

California Coastal Analysis and Mapping Project • Two Companion Large-Scale Efforts: • San Francisco Bay Area Coastal Study • Open Pacific Coast Study Re-map the elevation and inland extent of wave-induced coastal flooding • Re-study flood risk along the open coast and inland bays of all California coastal counties www.r9coastal.org
