SPFPA™ is the leading security union in the country and around the world, having provided representation to security police professionals in various industries for more than 70 years.Serving more than 27,000 members worldwide, the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA™) is committed to helping those who keep us safe obtain the wages, benefits, job security and work conditions they deserve.

  3. What to Know About Security Union Membership DuesSPFPA™ is a nonprofit organization, which means that all membership dues go toward paying operating expenses. New members are never required to pay an initiation fee, and do not pay dues until a union contract has been negotiated and approved.

  4. The dues each member pays are based on what they make. Membership dues amount to no more than two-and-a-half times the member’s hourly pay rate—and one hour of that total goes directly to the local union for operating costs.To learn more, visit SPFPA™ online.
