  12. Renée Joskow, DDS, MPH CAPT Joskow holds both a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University. She completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. She served as Assistant Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University. During her tenure, Dr. Joskow maintained a private practice in New York and provided Quality Assurance/Quality Control consulting services to several healthcare entities in the Tri-State area. After many years in New York, Dr. Joskow joined the National Institutes of Health as a dental public health fellow. She was commissioned in the USPHS as an Emerging Environmental Threats Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer in the National Center for Environmental Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Joskow subsequently joined the Office of the Surgeon General, where she served as Medical Readiness Manager and Director of Training and Education for the U.S. Public Health Service. She then served served as a Dental Research Officer and Program Official at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Joskow now serves as the Chief Dental Officer for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). In this role she provides leadership across HRSA on issues and activities related to oral health. Dr. Joskow is Board Certified in the specialty of Dental Public Health, a fellow in the International and American College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New York Academy of Dentists. Dr. Joskow proudly holds the rank of Captain (O-6) in the U.S. Public Health Service.

  13. Timothy Martinez, DMD Dr. Timothy Martinez graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1986 with a fifth-year concentration in Health Care Administration. Throughout his 30 year career, he has had extensive experience in FQHC’s dental programs, state dental Medicaid administration, private practice, and academic positions at the Associate Dean level. Dr. Martinez first worked at a migrant FQHC in Laredo, Texas through the NHSC Loan Repayment program. He then worked as Dental Director for three large FQHC’s in the greater Boston area, including the first FQHC in the nation Geiger-Gibson Community Health Center, Boston Health Care for the Homeless, and the South End Community Health Center. From 1990 to 2002, Dr. Martinez was instrumental in expanding dental services to rural regions of Massachusetts on the Cape and Islands increasing access to care for Medicaid and uninsured residents. From 2009 to 2017, Dr. Martinez went on to a dental education career facilitating the implementation and accreditation of two new dental schools, Western University of Health Sciences and the University of New England. As the Associate Dean for Community Partnerships and Access to Care for both of these Universities, Dr. Martinez afforded the opportunity for dental students to be exposed to FQHC’s, non-profit dental organizations, and private practices in dental designated shortage areas. As Borrego Health’s Chief Dental Officer since 2017, Dr. Martinez has come full circle in his career working with the extensive FQHC dental operations, both contracted and in-house.

  14. Charles Czerepak, DMD Dr. Charlie Czerepakis the founder of Pine Dental Care. He received his BS degree in Physics from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. While in graduate school at New York University he realized that he wanted to help people more directly, so he changed professions and entered dental school. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School in June of 1977. In June of 1979, he completed his pediatric dentistry specialty training at the Children's Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University. He opened Pine Dental Care; a community based private practice dedicated to the dental and oral health of children. In addition, he has served as the president of the Medical/ Dental Staff at the former Children's Memorial Hospital, interim head of the Division of Dentistry at CMH and a trustee on the board serving the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a tireless advocate for children's health and prides himself on the quality of the dentists he works with. Dr. Czerepak continues to be on staff  as an attending and lecturer at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's hospital of Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with his family. He is very enthused about his new role as a grandpa.

  15. Brian Bishop, DMD Dr. Bishop serves as Dental Director for the Hero Practice Services, a Dental Support Organization supporting practices in multiple states across the United States. He works closely with executive management and our team of regional dentists to ensure that dental services rendered at all Hero affiliated practices are of the utmost quality. Dr. Bishop is committed to excellence in patient experiences and seeks to promote access to care for underserved children. Dr. Bishop provides continuing education to dentists in topics of pediatric dentistry. He coaches and mentors dental providers on clinical guidelines, leadership, patient/parent communication and clinical documentation. Dr. Bishop is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry and completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Temple Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He promotes a culture of evidence based dentistry and promotes the guidelines endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
