Friendly Letters Your Name 13343 E US 224 Attica, OH 44807 October 29, 2011 HEADING • Part 1: Heading • What is the Heading? • This is the first part of a letter. • It includes the writer’sname, address and date. • Where is the Heading located? • The heading is located in the upper right side of your paper. • It also appears in the corner.

Friendly Letters • Part 3: Body • What is the Body? • This is where you write the content of your letter. • You will skip a line beneath the heading before starting the body of your letter. • Make sure you indent when starting new paragraphs. • What do you include in the body of a friendly letter? • In this part of the letter you write what you would like to tell the person you are writing to. • Share a recent experience. • Congratulate your friend. • Ask for advice.
