NC DAQ Interim Policy While investigating the De-Delegation of Subpart 4Z, DAQ has : • Inserted “Place Holder” Language in the Air Permit for Area Sources • NC DAQ continues to incorporate NSPS IIII and JJJJ into Air Permits and ensure facility compliance. • During site visits, NC DAQ Inspectors should be identifying RICE sources • NC DAQ continues to stay up-to-date on EPA activities on Subpart 4Z.

  7. Stack Testing Existing Non-Emergency CI > 300 HP at Area Sources • Submit Protocol • DAQ will be developing a sample • DAQ Observation • Facility Required to Notify DAQ prior to Test • DAQ not required to attend the test • Submit Results
