  3. Mine Ban Treaty (MBT) • The first such treaty to recognizing the needs of victims • Entered into force in 1999 • 160 States Parties • 26 States Parties with significant numbers of survivors • Cartagena Action Plan (CAP) 2010-2014

  4. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) • Promotes, protect and ensures the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights by all persons with disabilities • Entered into force 2008 • 154 signatories • 126 ratifications and accessions • 90 signatories to the Optional Protocol and 76 ratifications and accessions of the Protocol

  5. Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM) • Victim assistance is a legal obligation • Entered in to force in 2010 • 111 countries have joined the Convention; 77 are States Parties • Vientiane Action Plan (VAP)
