Galileo High School Data Statements Areas of Strength Areas of Concern 31% of Algebra I students are on track to meet or exceed the standards. 28% of HS Biology Students are on track to meet or exceed the standards. • 64% of HS Geometry students are on track to meet or exceed the standards. This is an 6% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. • 72% of 12thGraders are on track to Meet or Exceed the reading standards. This is an 11% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. • 70% of 11th Graders are on track to Meet or Exceed the reading standards.

Galileo Middle School Data Statements Areas of Strength Areas of Concern 44% of 6th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. 35% of 8th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. • 71% of 8th graders are on track to meet or exceed the Science standards. This is an 8% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. • 71% of 6thgraders are on track to meet or exceed the Science standards. This is an 11% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. • 69% of 7th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the reading standards. This is a 7% increase from the pre-assessment.

Galileo & DIBELS Desert ViewData Statements Areas of Strength Areas of Concern 27% of 4th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. 25% of 5th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. • 68% of 3rd graders are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. This is a 15% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. • The number of 3rd grade students needing “Intensive” support on the DIBELS Middle Benchmark went from 59% to 53%. • The number of 5th grade students needing “Intensive” support on the DIBELS Middle Benchmark for reading fluency words correct went from 58% to 40%.

This is a 6 % increase from the Quarter 1 assessment • 56% of kindergarteners are at Benchmark for DIBELS Middle assessment. This is a 21% increase from the beginning benchmark assessment. • 68% of 1st grade students are on track to meet or exceed the standard for math. This is a 17 % increase from the Quarter 1 assessment
