  2. Location • The Arctic is located at the top of the World. • It the includes north pole ,north and south America, Greenland, and part of Europe. Did you know that Robert Peary was the first person to go to the North Pole? I hope you like this faked did you know that Robert Peary tock a ship to the North Pole?

  3. Climate The Arctic : cold, harsh, and can be a very hard to survive. Many animals live there. DID YOU KNOW: In the Arctic they only have 2 months of summer? DID YOU ALSO KNOW: That in summer many plants grow? Plus they have a bird that is the only bird there, it’s called the Snowy Owl.

  4. Animals • There are many animals in the Arctic. Here are some of them. the snowy owl , Polar ,Brown ,And Black Bears , and lots more. Did you know that Polar Bears usually have 2 or more babies a. And that the snowy owl’s usually lay 8 or 9 egg’s. DID YOU KNOW: penguins do not live in the arctic.

  5. Plants There are not very many plants in the Arctic. There are summer plants. DID YOU KNOW there is a tree line far out on the outside of the Arctic. • DID YOU KNOW: On the outside of the Arctic there is a line that has the tempter that is more then 50 or 60 Degrees.

  6. Explorers • Robert Peary was the first person to go to the North pole in 1909.

  7. Legends • The Stolen sun is a legend that was passed on for generations. It is about a little boy named little darkness. It is also about not to hurt animals.

  8. Inventions • The Inuit people invented: sleds, igloos, and making clothes out of animal skin.

  9. Problems • Global Warming is affecting the Arctic. Polar bears are losing their home and its getting harder to find food and survive.
