  2. When do we need CSTA Multiplexer ? If you require more than one of the below products connected to PBX at the same time the CSTA Multiplexer is needed. • CA Server • PA Server • NCV200 (ACD Report Server) • Panasonic 3rd Party TSP • Mondago GoConnect Server • Poltys Call Centre Server • ANY Other CTI Application 2

  3. When don’t we need CSTA Multiplexer ? The following is a brief list of products which don’t need CSTA Multiplexer. • Panasonic 1st Party TSP • CA Client in Serverless mode • CA 1st Party TSP • CA Call Accounting • IP Softphone • PC Phone / PC Console 3

  4. When don’t we need CSTA Multiplexer ? 1st Party TPS does not require a CSTA connection to function and therefore does not require the CSTA MUX to run. Panasonic 1st Party TSP uses USB to connect and control aPanasonic proprietary telephone (PT) connected to Panasonic PBX. 4

  5. When don’t we need CSTA Multiplexer ? CA 1st Party TPS does not require a CSTA connection to function and therefore does not require the CSTA MUX to run. CA 1st Party TSP requires CA Client to work. 5

  6. When don’t we need CSTA Multiplexer ? Serverless installations of CA do not require a “CSTA connection” to function and therefore do not require CSTA MUX to run. CA Client in Serverless mode 6

  7. When don’t we need CSTA Multiplexer ? CA Call Accounting does not use a CSTA connection. It is based on SMDR and therefore does not require CSTA MUX to run. KX-NCP/KX-TDE SMDR LAN CA Call Accounting 7

  8. CSTA Multiplexer KX-NCP/KX-TDE series support only one CSTA connection at the same time. KX-NCP/KX-TDE CSTA LAN CTI Application Server

  9. CSTA Multiplexer CSTA Multiplexer allows you to use two or more CTI application at the same time. CSTA Multiplexer CTI Application Server KX-NCP/KX-TDE CSTA Single CSTA connection LAN CA Server CSTA CA Client

  10. CSTA Multiplexer CSTA Multiplexer supports 4 CTI application servers at the maximum.

  11. Activation Key When you use CSTA Multiplexer, one KX-NCS2020 activation key is required for each CTI application. However CA Server and PA Server do not require KX-NCS2020 activation keys. (*) CA Call Accounting does not use a CSTA connection. It is based on SMDR.

  12. Activation Key You need one KX-NCS2020 activation key for each CTI application.
