  1. Ms. Fletcher’s Weekly News Jan. 6th Family Times I will be sending home on Mondays a sheet called family times. It goes along with our phonemic skills that week. It would be wonderful extra practice and would help the kiddos out when it comes time for their test on Friday (wink, wink). So if you have time to look it over and do some of the activities you might find it beneficial. What We are Learning? Reading I can identify what a fact and opinion is in my reading. I can monitor and clarify my reading by asking myself if what I am reading makes sense and by re-reading. Phonics I can read and spell words with or and ore. I can read and spell words with ending –es and plural –es. Grammar: I can identify verbs that do not add –s. Math: I can count with groups of 10 and ones left over. I can count groups of 10 and write how many. I can use groups of tens and ones to show and write a 2 digit number. I can write a two digit number in its expanded form. Reminders Book orders due on Jan. 16th Jan. 20th No School We still need a head room parent for the Valentine’s Party Contact Information kfletcher@piperschools.com
