  1. National Leadership Conference Purpose: To empower ourselves as investors and activists to become ever more effective in expanding the funding of The Hunger Project in 2009 and beyond.

National Leadership Conference Intended Outcomes: • We discover a role for ourselves in one or more of the following: • Getting THP in front of as many people as possible • Bringing in new investors in 2009, particularly at $1,000+ • Inviting current, recent and potential investors to events • Including and updating current investors

National Leadership Conference Intended Outcomes contd.. • We leave with simple and effective strategies and approaches for introducing THP to others. • We hear from Jill about the challenges and opportunities that are in front of us. • We take advantage of the opportunity to be with and learn from our partners from around the country.

  4. National Leadership Conference Intended Outcomes contd.. • We deepen our connection with our partners in the developing world, and are mobilized to take effective action, by participating in the Vision, Commitment and Action Workshop newly adapted for our part of the world. • We all have an opportunity to engage with and commit to our highest appropriate level of investment in the work of THP in 2009.
