Our work thus far… Central Beat: Independent, inside look at local musicians Central Focus: COM 452, interviews of important campus figures Central Spotlight: COM 322, news show about community happenings EllensBurgeXtreme: COM 452, 30min sketch comedy show NewsWatch: COM 442 & 452, local weekly live newscast And then some…

  4. Our goal To become the school’s go to production crew for clubs, events, etc. To give film students opportunity to create what they desire and share with their peers To give non-film students a chance to have their story heard and to hear others

  5. Equipment Cameras, boom mics and lights… oh my! Cinematography is important, but so is image quality Audio will make or break any production Live streaming boxes are key to maintain relevance (BOD, S&A, possibly sporting events) Expenses made now will pay for themselves in the future

  6. Upkeep Corporate projects need to get done, but aren’t creatively satisfying Outside of class, students need incentives for non-creative work Website building and maintenance fees add up

Self-sustaining Organization & Rate Card • Single/Two Man Crew • $10/hour/crewmen • $15 editing fee • Event Shooting • Three camera min. • $50/hour/crewmen • $20 editing fee • Project Shoots • Rates/production costs discussed in contract negotiations • Starting at $150; varies depending on finished minutes, scope and editing time
