Early Life home George Washington Washington was born in 1732 in Virginia. His father died when he was 11. He was a hard worker and had a job as a surveyor by the time he was 16. John Adams Adams was born in 1735 in Massachusetts. He was very smart and his father made sure he was well educated. Thomas Jefferson Jefferson was born in 1743 in Virginia to a wealthy family. He enjoyed music, reading, and nature.
Battlefield Accomplishments home George Washington Washington was a leader of the colonial army. He helped America gain freedom from Britain. He had many famous victories John Adams Adams helped put an end to the Revolutionary War by gaining funding and alliances in Europe. Thomas Jefferson Jefferson held political positions during the Revolutionary War. As president, he worked to keep the US out of the Napoleonic Wars.
Presidency home George Washington Washington served two terms as our Nation’s first president. He created many precedences. John Adams Adams was vice president before he won the presidency.
