Solving Equation x2 = 16 x = √1̅6̅ = 4 Because 4∙4 = 16 x = -√1̅6̅ = -4 Because (-4)∙(-4) = 16 x2 = 15 x = √1̅5̅ Because √1̅5̅ ∙ √1̅5̅ = 15 x = -√1̅5̅ Because (-√1̅5̅) ∙ (-√1̅5̅) = 15
