Preparing for the Assessment • ESE Contact and Test Coordinator • Maintain close communication • Matrix of accommodations as reflected on IEPs • Prepare proctors for students • ESE/Classroom Teacher • Provide multiple opportunities to practice test-taking strategies • Assist students with relaxation and stress-reduction techniques • Discuss with students how their assessment situation will be different from that of their peers and WHY!
