Performance Specifications for Phase 1 – Aeroplane & Helicopter • Oceanic – Retain RNAV 10 and RNP 4 for Phase 1. • Domestic Enroute – RNAV 1/2 for all promulgated routes above F145/ 245 in domestic CTA. • Terminal Operations – RNAV 1 for all Terminal routes with Surveillance services • Approach Procedures – Mix of Conventional & RNP APCH and RNP AR APCH • No Change for Helicopter Ops • Transition Timetable (2008 - 2013) 18 November 2009 PBN Industry Forum

Phase 1 – Action Items: Aeroplane & Helicopter • Evaluation of DME/DME coverage to support RNAV 1 all routes (Enroute and TMA)*. • Completing task 1 March 2010 (Airways & CAA) • GNSS IFR AC and associated Part 19 D exemption. • Completing AC task by 1 March 2010 (CAA) • Part 19 D Rule plus related Rules changes • Completed by 1 July 2011 (MOT & CAA). *Note VOR /DME updating does not support RNAV 1 specifications.
