Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit • Established November 2002 • Initially funded from September 2001 out of HEFCE Rewarding Staff Initiative for three years • Headed by the Director of Learning and Teaching (Phil Poole) • Aims of the LTEU: “To support the Faculties in meeting the University College Learning and Teaching and Information strategies: teaching quality, widening participation, collaborative provision, accessibility, recruitment and retention”.
