The Indiana University Digital Signage Initiative, initiated in December 2010, utilizes Four Winds Interactive for university-wide digital signage solutions. With over 185 digital signs deployed across campuses, the initiative enhances communication through multimedia displays, live data feeds, and emergency alerts. Adherence to university branding and advertising policies ensures consistency. The project requires approval from the University Architect's Office for new signs and incorporates best practices for content visibility and placement. Project Overview • RFP for university wide digital signage was awarded to Four Winds Interactive. Process concluded in November of 2010 • Pilot project started in December 2010 • As of May 2011 we are in production • AxisTV, Scala, Omnivex and other systems need to migrate to Four Winds by end of January 2012 IU Digital Signage Initiative

Getting Started • Look at Costs & Benefits of Digital Signage • New signs need approval from the University Architect's Office (UAO).
