What do students wear for PE? Dressing out consists of the following: • socks and properly tied athletic shoes, • athletic shorts or pants, and • sleeved t-shirts.
What is prohibited? All PE clothes must adhere to the Cherokee County dress code; therefore , you are not allowed to wear the following: • Shorts that are above 5 inches above the knee • Tank tops • T-shirts with inappropriate words and or pictures
What is prohibited? Also, for safety purposes, you are not allowed to wear these items: • jewelry • wrist bands, or • other accessories deemed safety hazards.
What should I bring to PE? • Dress-out clothes • Agenda • Paper/pencil
What shouldn’t be brought to PE? • Phones • Valuables • Perfume • Aerosol/spray products
What is a typical day in PE? • Attendance • Crossfit exercises, circuit exercises, or endurance run • Fitness and or Sport instruction and activity
Health • 8th grade students will have a pre and post test called a SLO ( student learning objective) • Information on that test will be fitness and health related; • information will be taught throughout the entire school year.
How can you be a successful PE student? • Dress-out! • Participate! • Follow school rules!
