5 A Conceptual Study on Factors Leading to Stress and its Impact on Productivity with Special Reference to Teachers in Hig PDF
A Conceptual Study on Factors Leading to Stress and its Impact on Productivity with Special Reference to Teachers in Hig

Stress has become innate to all occupations and other aspects of life. The term -stress' can be perceived in various ways like environmental pressure, strain which an individual encounters, unpleasant interactions between an individual and the circumstances, etc Halkos and Bousinakis, 2010 . Usually, at work place, the unmatched job requirement and an individual capability create a pressure or emotional disturbance which is perceived differently by every individual thus making stress a very subjective element Michie, 2002 . In modern times, the definition of a stress is more related to the personal experience of an individual that is caused due to the pressures and demands of the workplace Blaug, Kenyon and Lekhi, 2007 . The stress can significantly impact the ability and performance of an individual as well as their perception on own's capability. Studies have associated different types of stressors, such as organizational factors, psychological distress with the performance of an individual. Further, the level of stress in respondents depends upon their age, qualification, position in the organization, type of work creative or routine , etc. The field of higher education is also no exception to stress. On account of the growth in number of institutions, enrolment rate, evolving higher standards of education and competition in the job market, institutions of higher learning are expected to turn out competitive and more stressful. In the current study, the researcher tries to analyze factors leading to stress and its impact on productivity with special reference to teachers in higher education. Bharathi. A | Dr. H. An IOT Based Low Power Health Monitoring with Active Personal Assistance

Among sensible goals of active and assisted living paradigm is the unobtrusive monitoring of daily living activities. A lot of research has been going on continuous home and personal monitoring applications. There are many solutions were adapted by these technologies to make better remote monitoring applications. The traditional continuous home and personal monitoring systems which are implemented with traditional client server architecture which may fail in factors like low power consumption, un deterministic data delivery time, More sensitive to external connectivity issues temporary failures of servers , adhoc networks using ZigBee and Z wave etc. and also increase the cost of implementation. However, when dealing with the home environment, and especially with older adults, obtrusiveness, usability, and cost concerns are of the utmost relevance for active and assisted Living AAL joint program. With advent of cloud services, the continuous remote monitoring based applications became truly plug and play'u009d approach implementation and also reduce the problems of temporary failures. One of the biggest challenges in this area is to make such application devices work with low power battery based applications . The main drawback comes from the higher power consumption, inherently needed to sustain much higher data rates. In this project, a solution is proposed to improve the low power consumption in Wi Fi sensors by making use of advanced RF based Microprocessor from Texas instruments CC3200 . Bed Occupancy sensor automation has been designed and implemented to test the feasibility of the approach. The TI CC3200 comes with ARM Cortex M4 as a core and inbuilt Wi Fi subsystem. The CC3200 provides different power modes to make the device enter into sleep or hibernate mode. This device will only enter only in work phase when the sensor is active state. During this phase, the processor sample and processes the sensor data and uploads to the cloud using REST API. Thing speak is an IoT cloud service used to present the sensory data as graphs, bar charts, and dashboards on the cloud remaining time it will enter into sleep phase to save the power of the device, so that it will extend the battery life time of the device. Dalit of Odisha: A Case Study of the Dombos in Rayagada District

The term Dalit,'u009d in Sanskrit is both a noun and an adjective. As a noun, Dalit can be used for all three genders, masculine, feminine and neuter. It has been derived from the root word Dal'u009d which means to crack, split etc. The word -Dalit' has come to mean that things or persons come under, the category of downtrodden, scattered, crushed, destroyed etc. The listed 93 Scheduled Caste communities of Odisha are known as Dalit in Odishan social system. But, in fact, the untouchables among the Scheduled Castes are the Dalits. The Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes comprise about 16.6 and 8.6 , respectively of India's population according to the 2011 census . There are total population in socially untouchables and economically poor in the lowest point of social structure in Odisha. After of independence of India, their social, political, education justice, economic status has not been changed as expected. The examination and analysis of present status of Dalits will be made through empirical study. The outcome of this study will draw a clear picture of the position of Dalits in Odisha and it will motivate government and non government agencies to take initiative to promote Dalits. 5 Comparative Study on RCC Beam with and without Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer using Ansys Software PDF
Comparative Study on RCC Beam with and without Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer using Ansys Software

RCC components are mainly beams and columns are sturdy and strong in flexure when they are utilized with Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymers CFRP composites which are epoxy bonded for tensile zones with the direction of fibres parallel to it of high tensile stresses. The mechanical behavior of composite concrete structures is difficult to analyze by an analytical model, due to the nonlinear behavior of the composite material. FE analysis is an efficient solution to overcome the problems. A load defection response, stress response and strain response were measured when CFRP reinforcement was provided, the stiffer response was observed at a relatively reduction in deflection, stress and strain in CFRP sheet.Finite Element Method analysis for the investigation of deformation and stresses. Ansys 14.5 software is used for finite element modelling. In this study unreinforced beam and beam reinforced with CFRP are compared on the basis of deformation and stresses. Review Paper on RCC Beam with and without Fibre Reinforced Polymer

Concrete creation is normally expected to present trouble free carrier all through its intended layout lifestyles. But these expectancies arent realized in many constructions due to structural deficiency, fabric deterioration, unanticipated over loadings or bodily damage. Untimely material deterioration can stand up from some of reasons, the most common being while the construction specifications are violated or while the ability is uncovered to harsher carrier surroundings than the ones anticipated throughout the making plans and design levels. Bodily damage can also arise from fire, explosion ' as well as from restraints, both internal and outside, in opposition to structural motion. Except in extreme cases, maximum of the structures require healing to fulfil its purposeful necessities by way of suitable repair strategies. 5 Over Review on Plant Tissue Culture PDF
Over Review on Plant Tissue Culture

Plant tissue culture has been widely employed in area of agriculture, horticulture, forestry and plant breeding. It is an applied biotechnology used for mass propagation, virus elimination, secondary metabolite production and in vitro cloning of plants. Recently, plant tissue culture has been used for the conservation of endangered plant species through short and medium term conservation also known as slow growth and cryopreservation also known as long term conservation. These methods had been effectively used to conserve plant species with recalcitrant seeds or dormant seeds and showed greater advantage over the conventional methods of conservation. At present plant cell culture has made great advances. Possibly the most significant role that plant cell culture has to play in the future will be in its association with transgenic plants. The ability to accelerate the conventional multiplication rate can be of great benefit to many crops countries where a disease or some climatic disaster wipes out crops. Mr. Rohan R. 5 Work Life Balance and Stress Level of Working Women in India PDF
Work Life Balance and Stress Level of Working Women in India

In the 21st century, women employees has become an important subject since the time has changed from earning the family living in today's world where both ,men and women equally share the responsibility of earning foe the betterment of their family life. Work life balance focuses on two main aspects called achievement and enjoyment, Lakshmi and Gopinath, 2013. Work life balance is not the outcome of individual efforts, it involve the efforts of the organization, the employee, the family and the society in which all are embedded. Technologies advancements and new invention have impacted the socio cultural life styles in Indian homes in the midst of all this, the compelling needs for growth in all spheres, for individual as well as for organization has resulted in imbalance in the lives of the workforce, Sundaresan, 2014. Women have shown their presence in every thought. From spots to aeronautics, from politics to engineering, from medical professions to academics, women have contributed significantly in almost every field. Work life balance of women employee is viewed as an important domain of discussion among researchers in the few decades. Extra demands on female academic employees could contribute to their occupational stress and work life imbalance. This can ultimately give rise to negative consequences for achieving the organizational goals and meeting the needs of the employees working with them. Work life balance and job stress go parallel to each other. What seem to be important employees give on balancing their lives and effectiveness of workplace practices and policies in supporting them to achieve such a goal, Zaheer and Darakhshan, 2015. 4 Design of an Air Conditioning System for a Commercial Building using Air Handling Unit PDF
Design of an Air Conditioning System for a Commercial Building using Air Handling Unit

An Air Handling Unit is a central air conditioner station that handles the air that usually, will be supplied into the buildings by the ventilation ductwork connecting to it. Handling the air means that the air will be delivered into the building spaces with thermo hygrometric and Indoor Air Quality treatment. An Air Handling Unit is a large piece of equipment that alters the temperature and pressure of air being distributed throughout the building. Air Handling Unit is usually located in the ceiling or at the top of the building. In this project the building required to be air conditioned is designed and the necessary electrical accessories are placed in the design calculation of loads by using Revit software. The building is divided into spaces and zones through which a heat load calculation report is generated in the software. As per the peak cooling load generated in the report the air terminals and diffusers are placed in the required spaces and zones. The air terminals and diffusers are interconnected and these are connected to the Air Handling Unit. Basavaraja. Kt | G. Hema Satish Babu | G. Sai Reddy | E. Teja | B. 5 Women Empowerment in India PDF
Women Empowerment in India

Women empowerment is not a new concept and its need was sensed much earlier, even before independence. Not only in India but all over the world women have faced atrocities and thus since the beginning of its history they have been challenging gender inequalities. The struggles for women empowerment have also been supported by many men who have been outraged at injustice against women in society. Women empowerment has become a much raised and discussed topic around the globe. But why is it necessary and why are we trying to fill this gender gap Why are women not given that equality level and trust in the society Why even in the 21st century women still have to run for their rights In India, women have always been a victim of honour killings. They have been bereft of basic rights for proper education and freedom for years. In this male dominated and patriarchal society, they face violence, abuse and other ill treatment. Empowerment of women is essential to have the bright future in family, society and country. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru had said that to awaken the people, first awaken the women need to be awakened, because once a woman has been awakened then the whole nation and family gets awakened with her. I believe a woman is a most powerful creature in this living earth. Not only she compromises her family, but in the time of need, she tends to have such energy to make things go in a right way whether the cost to it is they themselves. The aim of women empowerment is providing strength to them. The condition and status of women is somehow improving in our society but it is still not up to the mark. They still face gender inequalities and many other atrocities whose scale differs for different class and region of people. Women empowerment helps women to look upon their lives as a confident being. It encourages women to stand and fight for their rights and live a worthy life. There is not a radical but a little bit of change in the mindset of people that are allowing women to walk on the pathway of development. Women are leaving no stones unturned to prove themselves to the world and despite many hurdles, they turn out to achieve respectable and notable positions. Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skills and self confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process. Women empowerment can be defined in very simple words that it is making women powerful so that they can take their own decisions regarding their lives and well being in the family and society. It is empowering women to make them able to get their real rights in the society. Designing and Manufacturing of Alloy Wheel using 3d Printing Technology

3D printing is the type of Additive manufacturing, has the potential to vastly accelerate innovation, compress supply chains, minimize materials and energy usage, and reduce waste. Originally developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993. 3D printing technology forms the basis of Z Corporation's prototyping process. 3DP technology creates 3D physical prototypes by solidifying layers of deposited powder using a liquid binder. By definition 3DP is an extremely versatile and rapid process accommodating geometry of varying complexity in hundreds of different applications, and supporting many types of materials. Z Corp. pioneered the commercial use of 3DP technology, developing 3D printers that leading manufacturers use to produce early concept models and product prototypes. Utilizing 3DP technology, Z Corp. has developed 3D printers that operate at unprecedented speeds, extremely low costs, and within a broad range of applications. Alloy wheels are automobile wheels which are made from an alloy of carbon epoxy, E glass epoxy and S glass epoxy is tested individually or sometimes a mixture of both among them best one is chosen. Alloy wheels differ from normal steel wheels because of their lighter weight, which improves the steering and the speed of the car. Alloy wheels will reduce the unstrung weight of a vehicle compared to one fitted with standard steel wheels. Alloy is an excellent conductor of heat, improving heat dissipation from the bakes, reducing the risk of brake failure under demanding driving conditions. In this project, parametric model is done in Catia V5R20 and 3D printing is done in Idea maker software. B. Shushma | N. Aditya | B. Pravalika Reddy | D. Sindhuja | G. Design and Manufacturing of Sprocket using Additive Manufacturing Technology

Additive manufacturing, often referred to as 3D printing, has the potential to vastly accelerate innovation, compress supply chains, minimize materials and energy usage, and reduce waste. Originally developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993, 3D printing technology forms the basis of Z Corporation's prototyping process. 3DP technology creates 3D physical prototypes by solidifying layers of deposited powder using a liquid binder. Utilizing 3DP technology, Z Corp. has developed 3D printers that operate at unprecedented speeds, extremely low costs, and within a broad range of applications. This paper describes the core technology and its related applications. Additive manufacturing, often referred to as 3D printing, is a new way of making products and components from a digital model. Like an office printer that puts 2D digital files on a piece of paper, a 3D printer creates components by depositing thin layers of material one after another, only where required, using a digital blueprint until the exact component has been created. Interest in additive techniques is growing swiftly as applications have progressed from rapid prototyping to the production of end use products. Additive equipment can now use metals, polymers, composites, or other powders to print'u009d a range of functional components, layer by layer, including complex structures that cannot be manufactured by other means. By eliminating production steps and using substantially less material, -additive' processes could be able to reduce waste and save more than 50 of energy compared to today's -subtractive' manufacturing processes, and reduce material costs by up to 90 . The use of additive manufacturing can potentially benefit a wide range of industries including defence, aerospace, automotive, biomedical, consumer products, and metals manufacturing. In this project, parametric model is done in Catia V5R20 and 3D printing is done in Cura software. B. Raghu | G. Sai Hitheswar Reddy | D. Rishikesh | K. 3 Experimental Behaviour of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete with Partial Replacement of Fly Ash and Metakolin PDF
Experimental Behaviour of Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete with Partial Replacement of Fly Ash and Metakolin

Concrete is largely used due to the abundance of raw material, low manufacturing and maintenance cost, excellence in compression, corrosion aspects, and versatility in forming various shapes and its unlimited structural applications in combination with steel reinforcement. All these factors have contributed pressures to reduce cement consumption and to intensify research in exploring the possibilities of enhancing strength, durability and corrosion reduction through the use of pozzolonas as supplementary cementing materials. Fibre reinforced concrete FRC is a fibre reinforcing cementitious concrete composite, and by adding discrete short fibres randomly in concrete it exhibits many substantially improved engineering properties It is manufactured from kaolin which makes the concrete more durable and ecofriendly. In the present investigation mechanical properties of concrete containing both Fly ash and Metakaolin at various combinations are studied. For the various combinations of Fly ash and Metakaolin, cubes cylindrical and prism specimens are casted with 1 of fibres and the compression strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength test results are obtained and compared with the conventional mix having 1 fibres. It is thereby suggested that utilization of these cementitious materials in concrete will reduce the requirement for cement thereby marching towards green construction. M. Sankaran | Dr. M. 3 Conceptual Study of Mobile Forensics PDF
Conceptual Study of Mobile Forensics

The use of digital devices in day to day life has increased tremendously. Mobile devices have become an vital part of our day to day routine and they are prone to facilitating illegal activity or otherwise being involved when crimes occur. Whereas computers, laptops, servers, and gaming devices might have many users, in the vast majority of cases, mobile devices generally belong to an individual. The science behind recovering digital evidence from mobile phones is called mobile forensics. Digital evidence is defined as data and information that is stored on, received, or transmitted by an electronic device that is used for investigations. Digital evidence encompasses any and all digital data that can be used as evidence in a case. Mobile devices present many challenges from a forensic viewpoint. With new models being developed each day, it is extremely difficult to develop a single process or tool to address all the possibilities an investigator may face. Court cases also need to be taken into consideration as mobile devices are being seized and analyzed. Mr. I. A. Attar | Mr. M. M. 7 Comparative Analysis of Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing Method of Concrete Strength using Compressive and Reboun PDF
Comparative Analysis of Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing Method of Concrete Strength using Compressive and Reboun

This work presents a study on the comparison between Destructive Compressive test and Non destructive testing techniques Schmidt Rebound Hammer . Tests moisture content, Sieve analysis, particle density for aggregate and cement paste, bulk density, standard consistency of cement, slump test were performed on both the aggregate and cement to compare their accuracy of both methods and test the quality of the material to be used for concrete casting and estimating the strength of concrete. Seventy samples cubes of 150 x 150 x 150mm were prepared using mix designs of 1 2 4 with a constant w c ratio of 0.45 and were tested at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days respectively. From the results, the rebound number increased from an average of 12 for 7days to an average rebound number of 17.7 for 28days which is similar to the increment in compressive strength from an average of 24.3 for 7days to an average of 32 for 28days which show that the increment in the strength is uniform but 5 difference in value obtained. The slump test was between 62 78mm. From the results of the analysis, it was observed that the strength obtained from destructive process conformed to targeted mix value, whereas that of the Rebound hammer was below these values. Statistical analysis of the results obtained showed that 5 difference exists between the results obtained from the two methods. Hence, there was no significant difference between the means of the two methods for both mixes at a 0.05 level of significance. Non destructive Testing is observed to be more economical as it required no electricity and can also be used directly in the field. Onyeka, F. C | Mama, B.
