  1. AIM: To examine the progress made in meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in poverty reduction, education and health. TASK ONE: What are the MDG’s?

  2. We will be focusing on POVERTY, EDUCATION, and HEALTH. We will investigate the successes of Goals 1, 2, 4, 6.

  3. Progress has been uneven… Produce a set of notes highlighting the progress made in meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in poverty reduction, education and health. You should divide your notes into three sections: Poverty Reduction, Education and Health. For each section you should: • Outline the aims of the relevant MDG(s) in no more than 4 bullet points • Outline where and why positive progress has been made in no more than 3 bullet points • Outline where and why disappointing progress has been made in no more than 2 bullet points • Outline the progress made in Niger in no more than 1 bullet point.
