  2. PLHS baseball coaches mission statement We coach to help young men become responsible, accountable, hard working men of integrity who persevere through adversity while striving to have a positive impact on their peers and community.

  3. Tryouts/spring break • MSHSL: 1st day of contact for Baseball (SR-SO) is Monday, March 16th, 2015 • Contact includes: Players Coached, Evaluated, and/or Practice/Trained. • Prior Lake Spring Break is Monday, March 16th • PLHS Baseball Tryouts (SR-SO) start Monday, March 16th • Because of this there will be no Spring Trip for the 2015 Baseball Program • For a (SR-SO) PLHS player wanting to participate in the 2015 baseball season they must be at ALL 4 days of tryouts.

  4. Tryouts/spring break • Baseball Tryouts (SR-SO) will be starting Monday, March 16th through Thursday, March 19th during the daytime (10 am – 3 pm) • Tryouts for SR-So will all be at the Savage Sports Dome • Freshmen Tryouts will be Monday, March 9th through Thursday, March 12th after school (5:30-8:30 pm) • Freshmen tryouts are at Twin Oaks Middle School and 1 night at Savage Sports Dome.

  5. College choices / Recruiting Does anyone need help with college options and possibly recruiting? Would you be interested in a “round table” discussion/meeting?

PRIOR LAKE BASEBALL APPAREL • Opens TODAY, Oct 14th through Tuesday, Oct 28th • SITE: http://www.teamotgathletics.com/Will Be Emailed to you • Click on PL Baseball 2014 on Left Side of Screen • PASSWORD: plbaseball Delivery of apparel will be make before school about four weeks after the store closes.

  7. Off-Season training • We will again offer the Off-Season Training Program (Captains Practice) • Mid-Jan to Early March • Enhancements for this year • Additional Dome Time & Space • Additional Coaches

  8. Why do we fundraise • Objective of Fundraising • Assist in paying coaches salaries • Equipment purchases • Field maintenance and improvements • New uniforms at all levels  • Savage Dome Time/Space for tryouts & practices • Senior Night • Year End Banquet

  9. New Uniforms Our fundraising goal is to buy a set of uniforms for all levels. Varsity , JV, Sophomore, & Freshmen Levels

  10. FUNDRAISING • Salt Sales – Starting Today, Fall Only • Burger Bash – At the POINT in PL on January 31st, 2015 • Gold Cards Blitz – 1 day event in April • Diamond Club-Charitable program towards field improvements

  11. SALT SALES • 40 lb bags of Salt • Each bag sells for $7.00-Pellets/Coarse $8.00-Rust Out • Each player is being asked to sell 35 bags. • Buy Out is $125 for Salt Sale • Players Released from Program do not get their money fundraised back. Against MSHSL rules.

  12. Salt Sales Conti…. • Lisa Hanson will be emailing all players an order form. • Players email their completed Order Form on WED, Oct 29th to Lisa Hanson. • Salt Pick up is SAT, Nov 8th at: Prior Lake High School • Players are expected to help load into vehicles
