Dear Fellow Indians, The biggest tragedy would be to forget all what has happened in Mumbai and thereby permit the sacrifices of the firemen, soldiers, commandoes, policemen, ATS, responsible journalists and all the victims to be hijacked by a bunch of fat and corrupt politicians
Where did the funds go? • The firemen don't have pump pressure to reach the 5th floor! Where did the funds go? • Over a hundred commandoes don't even have night vision goggles to tackle less than 50 terrorists! Where did the funds go? • The soldiers are armed with outdated guns to face terrorists armed to the teeth with the latest weaponry! Where did the funds go? • The commandoes arrive onto the scene in Bombay Best buses (Public Transport)! Where did the funds go? • The Coast Guard does not have enough boats to patrol our coastlines? Where did the funds go? • Our top police officers are not given bullet-proof cars! Where did the funds gone? • The parliament is saying they need more money to handle all these matters adequately. Where did the funds go?
Any answer? Are we such sitting-ducks that any gun-totting kid can take us for a ride? Is there anybody in parliament with a hint of an answer? Any answer? I am afraid, the tornado of questions this situation has thrown up are far too many to be listed here. Clearly the implications are bigger than what meets the eye. May we forget these three days at our own peril.
Dear All, Think deeply !!!!!!! Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone! Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O". Why should you go and say " I VOTE NOBODY"… because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 10000 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 10000, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way; of our whole political system… it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public….
Think deeply Mumbai attack is a total failure of political leadership. Why the security forces are diverted for "Z" security of the politician and general Indian public are left as a soft target of terrorists? Is there any serious political will to solve the terrorist problem? Probably no, as that will have an impact on political vote banks. Instead, now the incident will probably be used by many political parties to whip up communal sentiments. It is clear now that ordinary citizens in India are not safe anywhere. As per media, terrorists have declared that the Mumbai incident is only a start. Further such attacks are still to come.
Consider…. 1. There is no serious political will to solve any problem. 2. All our problems are being used by politicians against each other - to increase their vote banks 3.. Political parties are trying to whip up state wise `son of the soil' sentiments and pushing India towards a civil war etc. etc. and etc.. Some are trying to divide India by whipping up religious & communal sentiments and some are trying to divide India by whipping up language sentiments. In the process, country's real problems are being ignored. Why we require these politicians at all? It is high time for a change.
Please spread this news to as many as you know… Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties & useless politicians in India … show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting… so don't miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on…Use your voting right for a better INDIA
