  11. Options: Partner Church Support Advantage Disadvantage Is not a sufficient amount of money to fund the whole project. • Provides partial support and creates healthy missional connections between planters, mothers and partners .

  12. Options: Planter Support Raising Advantage Disadvantage Planters vary greatly in their ability and networks for raising support. • Creates ownership and taps resources that are not available otherwise.

  13. Options: Presbytery Funds Advantage Disadvantage Many presbyteries do not have funds or a tradition of collecting funds. • Enables planters to get a head-start on support raising.

  14. Options: Foundation Grants Advantage Disadvantage Grants are hard to find and not usually renewable. • Provides a one-time shot- in-the-arm for the support raising process.

  15. Options: Bi-Vocational Planters Advantage Disadvantage Diverts time and energy from the work of church planting itself. • Gives planters credibility and connection with those who live in the neighborhood.

  16. Options: Working Wives Advantage Disadvantage Time and energy of a working wife will not be available for the planter. • Supplements income and gives a wife useful distraction from the burdens of planting.
