Luke 6:47-49 (King James Version) 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

  9. “REJOICE” is from ἀγαλλιάω • agalliaō • ag-al-lee-ah'-o • From ἄγαν agan (much); properly to jumpforjoy, that is, exult: - be (exceeding) glad, with exceeding joy, rejoice (greatly).

  10. Q: Why Can We Rejoice? A: Because JESUS DID it ALL! Hebrews 12:2 (King James Version) 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

  11. God wants us to ENJOY the gift of LIFE that He gave us! Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 (King James Version) 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
