  2. CDR • Center for Development and Research (CDR) undertook initiatives to set up community-governed pre-primary schools . CDR is a not-for-profit organization established in 1983 and since then working with the tribal communities towards education and to improve their quality of life. CDR entered into an agreement in 2008 with Society for elimination of Rural Poverty(SERP)and the Mandal Mahila Samakyas for this purpose. The first set of schools named Mava Nate MavaSada (MNMS)was started in Adilabad district. With just 3 pre primary schools , today these schools have grown to a strength of 372 pre primary schools. Activity based joyful teaching methodology is inspiring communities to set up their own schools. Today apart from Adilabad MNMS has extended its roots to East Godavari, Mahabubnagar, Warangal, and RangaReddy district of Andhra Pradesh.
