ASCHA’s Direction STRATEGIC PRIORITIES 2013 - 2016 COMMUNICATION & PUBLIC AWARENESS COLLABORATIVE GOVERNMENT & INDUSTRY APPROACH SUSTAINABLE REVENUE VISION: The voice and champion for seniors housing • DESIRED OUTCOMES • Public and stakeholders understand the value of our industry. • Increased credibility of the seniors housing industry. • Effective two-way communication with members facilitates strong member support from ASCHA. • ASCHA members are well informed and engaged to strengthen one voice actions. • DESIRED OUTCOMES • Healthy and collaborative relationships exist with relevant stakeholder groups. • ASCHA is an indispensable partner for sustainable transformation & positively drives government direction. • Workable solutions benefiting the majority of the members are proactively identified. • Members reach consensus on common issues to benefit the industry. • DESIRED OUTCOMES • Long term government partnership planis in place. • Sustainable housing models not solely reliant on government funding. • Building tax reform options are in place. • Avision for access to capital funding across all sectorsis established. This concept strengthens our recommendations to government and community leaders as it highlights the person-centered approach of our members.
