  3. Reasons to Consider Treatment in Sequim: • Sufficient excess capacity exists at Sequim WRF. • Only minor upgrades to Sequim collection system needed to accommodate Carlsborg flow. • Less than 3 miles of 6” force main needed to connect. • “State of the Art” facility producing Class A reclaimed water. • Good record of consistently meeting permit standards. • Sequim aggressively pursuing utilization of reclaimed water. • Resolves siting issues in Carlsborg. • Cost Savings

  4. Preliminary Sequim Cost Proposal • Capacity Cost: Proportionate Share of depreciated cost of shared treatment facilities (Approx. $1.2-1.5 million for 20-year Carlsborg flow projection. • Treatment O&M: $0.01 per gallon • Collection system O$M: $2.12 per foot on approx. 15,000 feet of shared sewer lines • 10-15% surcharge on Treatment & Collection O&M

  5. Present Worth – 20 Years(X $1,000) Notes: 1) Assumes constant 2012 dollars and 0% discount. 2) Assumes Purchase of 20-Year Capacity in two increments.
