  12. The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) • ACT developed Work Keys assessments to measure and verify skills • Analyzed jobs and identified skills needed for job success • NCRC is based on three, core assessments • Reading for Information • Applied Mathematics • Locating Information

  14. Job Applicant Benefits Earning an NCRC builds confidence. The NCRC gives job applicants a tangible way to document their skills. The NCRC helps job applicants stand out to employers who participate in the NCRC, both in Oregon and across the country.

  15. Employer Benefits Quickly identify qualified applicants. Applicants with an NCRC have a documented level of foundational skills, and are ready to be trained in the specific requirements of a job. The NCRC reduces hiring and training costs and employee turnover. The NCRC can be incorporated into existing hiring practices.
