  1. Instructions • I am going to be choosing individuals to be quarantined for the hour • Quarantine- isolating individuals to contain the spreading of a dangerous disease. • You cannot speak to anyone else for the 30 minutes, and no one may talk to you • You will move to a separate part of the room

  4. Pre-Work • Please make a word map, on your own, using the words provided in the following slide • This will show us your pre-knowledge before the unit • You will use this as your IAN unit page for the Disease unit, so make sure it looks good.

  6. Conjunctivitis Challenge • Now, we will read the packet as a class. You will take a C-Note and define the terms that we used in our word map. This will be placed directly behind the word map title page in the Input section of your IAN.
