  1. B.A.Children’s Inter-professional Studies Why have we developed it? To provide and train tomorrow’s workforce to meet the government agenda as set out in Every Child Matters: To address the five strands of provision of holistic care for children and their families To provide integrated inter-professional and inter-agency working To incorporate education, social work, nursing, social care, youth justice, the police, connexions, youth and community work as a single force for the care and support of children and families To meet national training and inspection targets across the whole childcare workforce

  2. What does it look like? Modules in education, social care, child protection, managing inter-professional settings, health and study skills Work placements throughout the programme in multi-agency settings Available full-time for the inter-professional childcare workforce of tomorrow, part-time for today’s workers and in individual modules for CPD
