  4. Jesus Served The Confused • He got up from the meal. • He took off his outer clothing. • He wrapped a towel around his waist. • He got down on the floor. • He washed their feet.

  5. Why Does Jesus Do This ? • He knew who he was. (Isa.6:1-5) see: John 12:40-41 • He knew who they were. • He knew who they would become. • He knew that his posture would change their disposition.

  6. Has Jesus Washed Your Feet? • This is not baptism. • This is sanctification for service. • This is a move down in status of this world but a promotion in the kingdom of God. • This is humbling for both the giver and the receiver. • Is this the missing step in your quest to serve JESUS by serving others?
