  2. The possibilities for free and multi-directional mobility of intellectual capital, is a crucial issue of development in every society at the beginning of the third millennium, especially for small states!

  10. Brain-drain and brain-gain are natural processes and we cannot and should not stop them. So lets change the attitude. • So mobility might be the answer, but mobility in both directions • TURN MOBILITY FOR OUR BENEFIT ! • How to do that?

  11. Centers of excellences and finding specific niche topic (or topics) might be the answer.

  12. During the last few years Faculty of Sciences of the University of Novi Sad established 4 CENTERS OF EXCELLENCES • Investment of about 1.5 million euros into equipment and about 500 000 euros to open new positions for young researchers. • We are opening 15 new positions for young researcher

  13. Our centers of excellences and its resources are managed in such a way to secure long term excellence and not waste funds and time.

  14. WE STUDY NATURE WHILE RESPECTING IT We are University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences
