It was agreed that the University of Louvain would take responsibility for constructing the TOF1 shielding system, with contributions in terms of manpower. The University of Geneva committed to covering the remaining costs. Additionally, the completed system is set to be delivered to RAL in time for step II of the project, rather than to Fermilab as earlier planned. This decision was finalized during the Executive Board meeting on Wednesday, January 22.
