FenstermacherNOAA/NOS Center for Oceanographic Operational Products and Services, Silver Spring, MD 20910 • Inundation analysis tool is used to find peak water level elevation relative to a chosen reference datum (MHW, MHHW) and to calculate the duration of inundation, all at selected stations. • Examined peak elevations and durations of inundation along the Gulf Coast, relative to three major hurricanes (Ivan ‘04, Dennis ‘05, Katrina ‘05) of similar tracks and strengths.
