  2. Commentary • There is good development, testing and exploration of the design ideas through the use of a mock-up. The annotation gives informed justification of decisions made. • The mock-up links well to the issue of trying to sleeve a plastic sheet in a holder or retainer to be used as the basis for a menu. • The model shows good presentation skills and demonstrates how the menu can be changed on a day to day basis through the use of a whiteboard. Some improvement to the hand written menu would have enhanced the presentation of the model. • This sample of work sits in the Excellence grade area for this standard.
