Integration and Thermal Analysis of Test Bench Components for Advanced Beam Pipe Systems
This document outlines the objectives for the integration and manufacturing of various components for a test bench, including BP, rings, staves, IST, and sensors. Key activities include collecting and assembling parts, providing feedback on assemblies, and conducting thermal analysis in Spring 2011. The design process collaborates with cooling teams while following boundary conditions for different load cases (bake-out, running nominal, accidental) established by R. Vuillermet. The project also considers interfaces and thermal testing configurations for efficient testing.

Objectives • Integration of different parts (2011) • Collect / Manufacture all parts (BP, rings, staves, IST, sensors...) • Give a feedback on different assemblies • Thermal analysis (Spring 2011) • Designing all the test bench with people from cooling (already in work) • Following R.Vuillermet boundary conditions to get information about three load cases: (start on March) Bake out, Running nominal, Accidental. • Lamination Flex / Stave (End : beginning of May) • Thinking about the interface Flex / Omega
